About Capitol Bar & Brewery

Nestled in the heart of Socorro’s historic plaza since 1896, Capitol Bar & Brewery is a unique blend of tradition and innovation. The establishment has survived numerous challenges, including prohibition and fires, making it one of the few remaining saloons from that era. Today, it serves as both a lively bar and brewery, featuring five anchor beers and seasonal brews like Jailbreak IPA and Ladrones Lager. The outdoor patio is shaded by large cottonwood trees and welcomes families and dogs, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying craft beer and live music.
